What is a Skills Development Provider?

A Skills Development Provider (SDP) is an organisation formally accredited by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and registered with a SETA to deliver occupational training in South Africa. SDPs offer nationally recognised qualifications on the NQF (National Qualifications Framework), ranging from short skills programmes to full occupational qualifications and artisan trade certificates.
