In order to be admitted to this qualification, applicants should have completed a Higher Certificate in the field of Banking, such as the Higher Certificate in Banking Services, the National Certificate in Banking (Financial Services), the National Certificate in Banking Services Advice, the Certificate in Sales: Banking Services or the Certificate: Bank Credit. Applicants with other relevant NQF Level 5 qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. As this qualification and its modules are advanced, basic knowledge in a certain field might be necessary, depending on the elective combination chosen. Milpark might recommend certain bridging modules.

The minimum admission requirement is a Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) such as the Milpark Higher Certificate in Management, or any other Higher Certificate in the field of management, business management or any related field.
Where such entry qualification did not include Accounting, the following additional requirement shall apply: a pass in Accounting at matric level (50% in the National Senior Certificate (NSC) or Senior Certificate (Higher Grade) or 60% at Standard Grade) or higher is required.
Candidates who do not meet the Accounting requirement may be required to complete a bridging module.
It is recommended that students should be employed in a business environment (of any kind), whether full-time or parttime, or have access to such an environment for the purposes of practical learning assessments.

The minimum admission requirement for the PGDip (Business Administration) is a Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 6/7).
Admission to the qualification is further subject to academic selection criteria. Applicants must achieve an acceptable rating in the Milpark admission assessment. The applicant must also be:
proficient in English. (Proof of proficiency may be required for international students.)
computer and internet-literate.

The minimum admission requirement for the Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning is an appropriate Bachelor’s degree at NQF level 6 (old) or 7 (new) or equivalent.
A pass in Matric mathematics on higher grade or a C symbol on standard grade or equivalent is also required. Relevant post-matric studies which demonstrate familiarity with the mathematical abilities required will be considered.
Applicants are requested to submit a detailed curriculum vitae displaying details of employment for the previous ten years which will be used as part of the curriculum planning process. Applicants without extensive experience in financial planning will be required to complete the qualification over a minimum period of two years.
In line with our admission policy, applicants with insufficient/no/outdated tax knowledge may be admitted on condition that they successfully complete the Induction to Financial Planning INDFP1-8 and the Financial Planning Environment PGFPEN-8 modules, in this order, before being allowed to register for further modules.

The minimum admission requirement is a relevant NQF 7 qualification (Bachelor degree or Advanced Diploma).

Depending on the modules completed in the undergraduate qualification as well as the work experience, Milpark might recommend certain bridging modules for individuals who need to augment their knowledge on certain subject matters.

The minimum admission requirement for the Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management is an appropriate Bachelor of Commerce degree at NQF level 7 or equivalent.
A pass in Matric mathematics on higher grade or a C symbol on standard grade or equivalent is also required.

Relevant post-matric studies which demonstrate familiarity with the mathematical abilities required will be considered should an appropriate BCom not be available.

Admission to the qualification is subject to academic selection criteria. The applicant must:
have an accredited postgraduate diploma, honours degree, a four-year Bachelor’s degree (that exits at Level 8) or equivalent.
be at least 25 years old.
achieve an acceptable rating in the admission assessment.
have a minimum of three to four years’ relevant work experience.

be computer and internet-literate.
submit a one-page essay motivating their admission onto the MBA.
