  • For skills training, check the QCTO The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations accredits skills development providers. Visit www.qcto.org.za.
  • Be cautious of pressure tactics Be wary of institutions that pressure you to enrol quickly, demand large upfront payments, or refuse to provide written accreditation documentation.
  • Verify physical address and contact details Legitimate institutions have verifiable physical campuses and consistent contact information. If you cannot find a real address, treat it as a red flag.
